Whether you arrived here by means of the Chapter 3 Ministries website or by some other way, welcome! Thank you for visiting. Please take some time to click around and check out the Cafe. This community was created a while ago, but I have not promoted it much because this platform lacked key features like notifications for New Threads and New Posts. In January 2018 I learned that those features were now available! I now believe this platform can serve us well in the spirit of Titus 2:3-5.
The features that have been added will make being aware of new forum activity much easier. To learn how to use these new features please see Important: Directions for Turning on Notifications. You may also like to read the thread about using bookmarks: Important: Directions for Bookmarking Threads. (These directions apply to registered members.)
Note: The previous name of this community was "Daughters of Sarah". If you are looking for it, you are in the right place.
The Titus Cafe has been established to provide an option for women to come together for guidance and encouragement in the spirit of Titus 2:3-5.
Besides the important work of pastors and other leaders in the church, God has provided another means for Christian women to receive guidance and encouragement. This provision is found in Titus 2:3-5. It is a beautiful ministry of women being there for other women. This can happen in an organized or casual way. I feel the ideal is when it happens naturally. It’s great when sisters in the Lord connect and share in the joys and challenges of life together. It is a true blessing to see the ideas of Titus 2:3-5 put into practice out of Christian love and care.
Truth is, however, sometimes it doesn’t happen naturally or even in an organized way. It can be difficult or awkward to find someone in your personal life or church to connect with and some churches are not set up with a focus in this area. Some women, like me, cannot easily connect due to health issues. Because of all these reasons, I have set up this forum for women to come together so that we may better experience the special provision that God has provided for us – each other!
If you would like to participate in a community that is geared towards sharing in the challenges and joys of life and giving and receiving guidance and encouragement in areas relating to married life, single life, motherhood, personal character and behavior, faith, and the home, this is the place to be! We also have extra categories for fun and miscellaneous discussions. You may register or browse. If you register you will be able to reply to existing threads and create your own. You’ll also be able to utilize global chat, edit your profile, customize your avatar, and use our private messaging system. Registration is free, fast, and easy! You can use your real name or be anonymous with a unique user name. I look forward to having you join in the conversation!
